Baptism

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word." (The CCC, Article I, paragraph 1213)

TO SCHEDULE A BAPTISM, please call Diane at 513-721-4045

You may wish to read our parish Baptism Information Brochure.

We schedule Baptisms after the 10:30 AM Mass on Sundays.  In preparation for infant baptism, instructional classes are held for new and expectant parents. These classes will help them understand their responsibility in sharing the Catholic faith with their child. They will also familiarize them with the Rite of Baptism. The Baptism Prep class is usually held the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the Parish Center.  After completing this class, then you may call Diane at the office at 513-721-4045 to schedule your child's Baptism.  We would ask that you also fill out the Baptism Registration Form.

In preparation for adult Baptism, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is offered throughout the year. This group meets on TUESDAY evenings.
