We will be collecting non-perishable food items after all masses. Items will be collected and donated to St. Leo's Food Pantry and delivered to them at Thanksgiving. Please place them in the boxes located in the back of the church.
Wednesday, November 14, 2018 - Pray the Rosary Together
Everyone is invited to join in group praying of the rosary. This group began their prayer at Easter and has continued it once a month at different grottos in the area, but as the air cools they will move their prayer into the church. The rosary is a powerful prayer and many voices will make it even more powerful. Our prayer begins at 7:00 PM.
Wednesday, November 14, 2018 - Walking with Ignatius of Loyola
Deepen your knowledge of Ignatian Spirituality with a lecture series led by Fr. Jerome Veigas, SJ. The lecture begins at 7:00 PM in the parish center. The series continues every third Wednesday of the month. Please call 513-721-4045 to enroll. Enrollment is free.
Saturday, November 17, 2018 thru Sunday, December 2, 2018 - The Giving Tree
Each year St. Xavier Church partners with several community agencies that serve the needs of children, families, and the elderly during the holiday season. We are again pleased to offer our parishioners the opportunity participate in this program. Please take an ornament and help brighten someone's holiday season.
Saturday, November 17, 2018 - Service of the Longest Night
A prayer service for anyone mourning any type of loss. You are invited to experience God's comfort and support for your grief journey through song, prayer, and scripture. Our prayer begins at 10:00 AM in the church. The service will be followed by a program to assist people in "Getting Support for Grief and Loss during the Holidays" led by Sandy Keiser, LISW in the parish center.
Saturday, November 24, 2018 thru Sunday, November 25, 2018 - Catholic Book and Media Fair
The Daughters of St. Paul will be in the back will in the back of the church before and after all masses this weekend for a Catholic book and media fair. Stop by to shop their selection of books on prayer, lives of the saints, spirituality, and Bibles, along with CDs and DVDs accessible to all ages. Pauline Books and Media is a ministry of the Daughters of St. Paul who promote the Word of God through all forms of media.
Sunday, November 25, 2018 - Tender Mercies
We will prepare and serve a meal for the residents of Tender Mercies, a non-profit organization that transforms the lives of adults experiencing homelessness and mental illness by providing security, dignity, and community in a place they call home. If you would like to donate a food item for this month's trip or would like more information please contact Diane Roden at the parish office at 513-721-4045.
Wednesday, December 5, 2018 - Understanding the Sacraments
A lecture series taking a deeper look into the seven Sacraments of the Church, with a special focus on the mass. Fr. Patrick Fairbanks, SJ will help to clarify and illuminate so as to appreciate our Catholic sacramental life. All are welcome. The lecture begins at 7:00 PM in the parish center. The series continues every first Wednesday of the month.
Sunday, January 20, 2019 - Bicentennial "Kick Off" Event
Join us after our 12:00 PM mass with refreshments in the parish center to "kick off" our bicentennial year. Insightful displays and tours will show our rich two hundred year history. Guest speaker, Fr. Tom Kennealy, SJ, will present on "The History of St. Xavier Parish" and the St. Xavier Choir will conclude our "kick off" with a short concert.
Sunday, May 19, 2019 - Bicentennial Mass
Join us in celebrating our bicentennial at the 10:30 mass presided by Bishop Joseph Binzer.
